Product Care & Use

At August Onset we pride ourselves on making our products with the finest quality ingredients and materials. We ask that you use our products responsibly, cautiously, and with great care. To ensure safe use of candle burning and diffuser use, please review and follow the guidelines below:

Candle Care

• Place candle on protected, heat-resistant, dry surface, away from anything that can catch fire as well as out of reach of children and pets
• Keep burning candles within sight at all times. Never leave burning candles unattended
• Keep candle away from flammable and foreign objects
• Burn candle in draft free area
• Keep wick trimmed to 1/4" and stop candle use when only 1/4" wax remains
• Ensure that there is enough space around the candle when burning do not burn under objects or in tight areas
• Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time
• Keep wax pool free of matches, wick trimmings or any other flammable materials
• Do not touch a burning candle that has been burning for a significant amount of time as the surface may be hot. We recommend that you put the candle out and let cool before touching/moving.

Reed Diffuser Care:

• Keep out of reach of pets and small children
• Do not ingest the liquid that is in the diffuser bottle
• Avoid putting in places where the bottle can be knocked over
• Liquid that is in the diffuser bottle may damage wood surfaces and other surfaces if spilled so please use with caution
